USS Shoveler (AM-382)
The Shoveler Was Launched 10
December 1944, Placed out of commission 5 November 1946.
Recommissioned 24 July 1951, Placed Back In Reserve 28 September 1956.
Shoveler received one battle star for World War IT service and one for service
in the Korean War.
Shoveler was loaned to Peru on 1 November
1960 under the Military Assistance Program and serves that government as [Diez
Canseco] MSF-69
