Dropping Depth Charges

As I remember it the depth charges we dropped in 1952 was to check the Devastator's structural strength and were set for a ridiculously shallow depth, which I believe was either 50 or 60 ft. they hardly had time to sink before they blew. It did rattle your teeth though.
