Curious School Boys

129a     We needed to make repairs and anchored in a harbor of a small Japanese island. Shortly after anchoring the curious soon came out to the ship. Gunner's Mate Carter began joking with the boys if they can bring out some girls; it wasn't long where a boat with two girls was brought out. When the O.D. saw the girls he yelled, "Any man stepping in that boat is on report." After a while the curiosity grew old and the group returned to the island.
