The Devastator AM-318 is Now The Lerdo de Tejada  

Sebastián Lerdo de Tejada
1823-1889

In 1972, the Devastator was sold to the Mexican Navy and is now named after Sebastian Lerdo de Tejada one of Mexico's foremost leaders. When in Mexico Rocky LoCascio from his hotel room saw a ship going out to sea and thought it looked like an AM Mine Sweeper. After pulling some strings he was allowed to go on a dock that had the ship he saw from the hotel room, it turned out to be the Devastator AM-318. When close to the ship he could see the

When Rocky Identified him self as being on Devastator during the 50s he was warmly welcomed aboard and have a party.
